Sharing the stories that led to important accomplishments strengthens employee and customer loyalty. I scour company and organization archives, news reports, and other sources for the stories that connect the past to the present and future.
HISTORIC PRESERVATION
A building or landscape that is added to a local historic landmark or the National Register of Historic Places is more than about pride--its also about money! Local, state, and federal financial incentives may be available for landmarked properties. I research and submit well-documented successful landmark applications that can help unlock these funds.
MUSEUM AND HISTORIC SITE CONSULTATION
Increasing visitation to museums and historic sites requires authentic stories that are well-told. I will analyze the historic accuracy, exhibits, and tours and provide options for improve your storytelling.
PRESENTATIONS
Stories from the past are great stories to share. Through my research in the American Constitution, American Civil War, Black History, and the local history of Kane County, Illinois, I have a wealth of history presentations that will drive attendance to your event.
LIVING HISTORY
For nearly twenty years I have portrayed a Union infantry soldier from the U.S. Civil War. My presentation, in a full replica uniform, gives the audience an opportunity to experience the Civil War from the point-of-view of the typical person who fought and died in it. My research and experience is presented in a captivating way that appeals to audience young and old.
